What is M-KURA?
M-KURA is an Open-Source, Decentralized, Immutable, User-Governed, public participation platform(PPP) and ecosystem for Kenyans, made by Kenyans.
Why M-KURA?
M-KURA is:

- Immutable DB. (Unchangeable).

- Non-custodial.
- Maintained by Kenyans.
How do I Participate?
Create Account:
- Go to test.m-kura.vote/#/account/
- Click on Create Account.
- Click on Create New Account.
- Go to home. (test.m-kura.vote).
- Choose an Issue.
- Choose an option.
- Click Vote.
- Voila! You have Participated.
- Share your vote on socials.
Who owns M-KURA?
M-KURA is owned by the active users who donate or pay for the monthly DAO membership fee. All payments go into the M-KURA smart-contract which can't be changed or manipulated. (See the code). The funds stay in the smart-contract and are only disbursed by a passing vote on the M-KURA platform. The amount, purpose, and recipient will be defined in the vote.
What is a DAO?
A DAO is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization, which simply means; an organization owned and operated exclusively by it's users/members. In that effect, M-KURA is fully controlled and funded without any strings attached, by all the users of the platform.

How to Contribute?
M-KURA is decentralized organization which was born in June 2024's anti-corruption protests in Kenya. Since then, and by design, M-KURA is maintained by volunteers and well wishers for Kenya. Contribute your expertise or donate to the M-KURA Treasury.
